I'm sure that many of you have heard of search engine optimization, but how about conversion rate optimization? It is great to have a ton of traffic coming through your website, but not so great if nobody is buying anything. Conversion rate optimization is the next step of SEO. If you already have web surfers in the door, you want to capitalize on as many as possible. Easy Navigation

If someone viewing your website wants to contact you or find another product you offer, they will leave your website in a heart beat if finding this information takes more than a few seconds. Ease of navigation can determine the success or failure of website. This is why it is important invest in a good content management system and design that will be easy for viewers to navigate when the enter your website.

Calls to Action

Have you ever been to a website that seems like a bunch of words and pictures, but has no purpose? This is what your website looks like if you do not lead customers to the action you want them to perform! Whether it is buying something, contacting you, or commenting on your blog, you must make these actions known without being to discrete.

Engagement

Engagement is not as crucial, but it can help you a lot. When people engage with your website they are more likely to come back. This is why it is important to have comment or review boxes, or even a simple flash game :)
